OUR
MISSION.
Our mission is to provide a home for children needing out-of-home placement. We desire to provide services and opportunities that will enhance the total well-being of every child mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This is accomplished in a Christian environment where the principles and values upon which the Home was established are emphasized.
OUR
HISTORY.
Throughout its decades of serving children, the Home has had to adjust and adapt its programs to ensure that we are effectively meeting the ever changing needs of the populations we serve. That has never been more evident than in this most recent decade. Some awesome things that we have accomplished include:
Transitional Living Program
Improving and enhancing our Transitional Living Program working with older teens in preparing them for independence.
Foster Care & Adoptions Program
Receiving our license to begin licensing foster homes under the umbrella of Falcon Children’s Home and Family Services.
Falcon Christian Academy
Opening Falcon Christian Academy, our own private school on campus directly focused on working with student within the foster care system.
Royal Home Ministries
Launching Royal Home Ministries, a maternity and mother’s and babies program designed to help save babies from abortion and to redirect the life of the mother.
Turbeville Children's Home
Venturing outside of North Carolina and opening a second children’s home in Turbeville, South Carolina.
Future Endeavors:
We are also working on more sibling cottages to allow families to stay together. It is our goal to continue to look for and develop new initiatives that will allow us to reach and serve even more children than ever before.
It is our wish that every child could be raised in a family home setting, but for those who are not able to and are placed with us, we make every effort to provide an environment that will nurture and develop that child to be as successful as possible in life. Falcon Children's Home and Family Services is truly making a difference.
